42nd Design is one person. I've spent about twenty years building software for a living - mostly the parts that decide whether it holds up under load and whether you can tell what it's actually doing, and I hold what I make here to the same standard.

Everything on this list started as a real gap: something I needed, expected to exist, and couldn't find done well. Most of it is for flying; where good software is thin unless you're on an iPad; and the rest comes from the same instinct turned on the rest of my life. The list stays short because I'd rather a few things be genuinely good than ship a catalog of mediocre ones.
